For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shrimp and sear for 2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and peanuts. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return shrimp to pan. Add black pepper, soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Toss to coat.
  5. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
