- 500g ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until sauce thickens and meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve hot with pasta or rice.
Notes
For a lighter version, use ground turkey instead of beef. Ensure meatballs are evenly sized for even cooking.
