Description

A simple corn casserole with a sweet honey glaze, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the corn, honey, milk, and beaten egg until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the corn mixture and stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispier top, broil for the last 2 minutes. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
