For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt. Stir and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth, honey, and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
  4. Add egg noodles to the pot, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir into the pot and cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
