For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt. Stir and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, honey, and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
- Add egg noodles to the pot, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir into the pot and cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
