Flavorful Ground Turkey Teriyaki Stir Fry

A quick and delicious stir fry with ground turkey and vegetables coated in a homemade teriyaki sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, water, and cornstarch to make the teriyaki sauce. Set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the turkey and vegetables. Stir well to coat and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
