For the Crust:

  • 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 packet (1 oz) French onion soup mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, French onion soup mix, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Coat each thigh evenly with the French onion dip mixture, ensuring both sides are covered.
  4. Place chicken thighs skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the top is golden and crispy. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
