For the Crust:

  • 1 lb flank steak, pounded thin
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lay the pounded flank steak flat and spread cream cheese evenly over the surface.
  3. Sprinkle spinach, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, salt, and pepper over the cream cheese.
  4. Roll the steak tightly and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  5. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak roll on all sides until browned.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the steak reaches your desired doneness.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into pinwheels.
