For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
