For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika, then place in a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. Pour over chicken.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the cream mixture.
  4. Combine crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and topping is golden brown. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
