For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika, then place in a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. Pour over chicken.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the cream mixture.
- Combine crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and topping is golden brown. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
