Description

A hearty and cheesy dip made with ground beef, Rotel tomatoes, and Velveeta cheese, perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Optional: chopped onions, jalapeños for spice

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning to the beef and stir until well combined.
  3. In a separate pot, melt the Velveeta cheese with milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Combine the seasoned beef, Rotel tomatoes, and cheese mixture in the pot.
  5. Stir in sour cream and heat through until bubbly.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a spicier version, add fresh jalapeños or use hot Rotel. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
