For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and thyme, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in orzo and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add broccoli and heavy cream, stirring well. Cover and cook for 5 more minutes or until broccoli is tender.
- Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
