For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil before serving.
