Juicy chicken breasts topped with pesto and melted cheese, baked to perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then arrange in the baking dish.
  3. Spread 2 tablespoons of pesto over each chicken breast.
  4. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F internally.
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
