- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Add cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika; stir until cheese melts.
- Mix cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and pour into a baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
Notes
For a crispier top, broil for the last 2 minutes. Adjust cheese for creaminess.
