- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
These brownies are best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
