Quick and delicious chicken fajitas made in the air fryer with tender chicken, bell peppers, and onions, seasoned to perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fajita seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)
  • Lime wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken strips, bell peppers, and onion with olive oil, fajita seasoning, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken and vegetables in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  4. While the fajitas cook, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  5. Serve the fajita mixture on warm tortillas. Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime if desired.
