Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in the dish, sprinkling each layer with garlic, salt, pepper, Parmesan, and Gruyere.
  4. Pour the heavy cream over the layers.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and crispy.

Notes
