Description

A creamy and flavorful chicken dish featuring sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside; in the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and basil, bring to a simmer.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Pairs well with pasta or vegetables.
