For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, spinach, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for another 5 minutes, coating them evenly.
