- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add onion and garlic. Sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Adjust cream amount for desired consistency. Serve with a side salad.
