For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 package (16 oz) potato gnocchi
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet with the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top and cover the skillet. Let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
