Description

This creamy, garlicky chicken recipe is packed with Parmesan cheese and topped with a mouthwatering garlic butter sauce. It’s easy to make and perfect for weeknight dinners!


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  7. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until melted and smooth.
  9. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it.
  10. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with pasta or rice to soak up the sauce. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
