- 8 ounces goat cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened goat cheese and honey until smooth.
- In a separate shallow dish, combine the chopped cranberries, chopped pistachios, and salt.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the cheese mixture and roll into balls.
- Roll each ball in the cranberry-pistachio mixture until fully coated.
- Place the coated balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Serve chilled, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
These ornaments can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a sweeter version, add more honey.
