Description

Festive goat cheese balls rolled in cranberries and pistachios, perfect for holiday appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened goat cheese and honey until smooth.
  2. In a separate shallow dish, combine the chopped cranberries, chopped pistachios, and salt.
  3. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the cheese mixture and roll into balls.
  4. Roll each ball in the cranberry-pistachio mixture until fully coated.
  5. Place the coated balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

These ornaments can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a sweeter version, add more honey.
