Description

A festive turkey breast glazed with a sweet and tangy cranberry orange sauce, perfect for holiday dinners with family and friends.


Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 pound) turkey breast, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, honey, orange zest, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
  3. Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Place it in a roasting pan.
  4. Brush the cranberry orange glaze over the turkey breast.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 1 to 1.5 hours, basting with more glaze every 20 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a crispier skin, broil the turkey for the last 5 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
