Description

Sweet and tangy meatballs glazed with a cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday appetizers or parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, milk, bread crumbs, and egg. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice; cook over medium heat until heated through.
  5. Add baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Notes

Serve warm with toothpicks for easy appetizer serving. Can be made ahead and reheated.
