Description

These festive cranberry feta pinwheels combine creamy feta and tangy cranberries in flaky puff pastry, making them a perfect appetizer for holiday parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, crumbled feta, chopped cranberries, pecans, honey, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 12×16 inches.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border on one long side.
  5. Starting from the opposite long side, roll the pastry tightly into a log, sealing the end with water if needed.
  6. Slice the log into 1-inch pinwheels and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush with beaten egg if desired for a glossy finish.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

These pinwheels can be prepared ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking. For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary to the filling.
