Description

A festive puff pastry Christmas tree appetizer filled with cranberry sauce, creamy camembert cheese, and crunchy pistachios, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 150g camembert cheese, sliced
  • 100g cranberry sauce
  • 50g shelled pistachios, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for decoration
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the pastry, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Arrange the camembert slices and chopped pistachios on top of the cranberry sauce.
  5. Fold and shape the pastry into a Christmas tree form, sealing the edges with egg wash.
  6. Brush the entire tree with the beaten egg and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before garnishing with rosemary and serving.
