Description

A hearty side dish featuring fresh green beans, potatoes, crispy bacon, and ranch seasoning, perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 4 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onions until translucent.
  3. Add the cubed potatoes and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the green beans, ranch dressing mix, salt, and pepper; cover and cook for 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Crumble the cooked bacon over the top and serve hot.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use smoked paprika for flavor.
