Description

A timeless appetizer featuring hard-boiled eggs mixed with mayonnaise, mustard, and seasonings for a creamy filling.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Drain and cool eggs under cold water, then peel and slice in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove yolks and mash them in a bowl. Mix in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites and sprinkle with paprika.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
