Description

A festive no-bake Christmas wreath made with cream cheese, filled with assorted fruits and nuts for a delightful holiday appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • Fruit and Nut Filling:
  • 2 cups mixed dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, apricots), chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup cherries, halved
  • Decoration:
  • Additional fresh berries or kiwi slices for garnish
  • Sprigs of fresh mint or rosemary for wreath shape

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped heavy cream until well combined.
  3. Mix together the chopped dried fruits, pecans, walnuts, and cherries in a separate bowl.
  4. Line a serving platter with plastic wrap in a circle to form a wreath shape.
  5. Spoon half the cream cheese mixture into the circle to form the base.
  6. Add the fruit and nut mixture on top, then cover with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
  7. Smooth the top and sides to shape into a wreath.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
  9. Before serving, remove the plastic wrap, garnish with fresh berries, kiwi slices, and herb sprigs to resemble a wreath.
  10. Serve with crackers or as a decorative centerpiece.

Notes

This recipe can be prepared a day in advance. Adjust fruits based on availability. Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
