Description

These festive Christmas Charcuterie Snack Cones are a fun and interactive appetizer, perfect for holiday parties. Fill waffle cones with a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, and dips for a delightful bite-sized treat that mimics classic charcuterie boards in an edible form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 waffle cones (large, plain)
  • 1/2 pound Prosciutto slices, rolled
  • 1/2 pound Soppressata slices, rolled
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup grapes, seedless
  • 1 block cheddar cheese, cubed (about 1 cup)
  • 1 block gouda cheese, cubed (about 1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup olives, pitted
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Holiday sprinkles or edible glitter for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cones: Ensure the waffle cones are clean and dry. If desired, decorate the rims with holiday sprinkles or edible glitter by lightly brushing the edges with honey and dipping.
  2. Assemble the charcuterie fillings: Slice cheeses into small cubes. Roll meat slices if needed. Wash and prepare fruits.
  3. Layer the ingredients: Starting from the bottom of each cone, layer in slices of prosciutto and soppressata, cubed cheeses, olives, cherry tomatoes, and grapes.
  4. Add dips: Place small dollops of Dijon mustard, honey, and fig jam in separate cones or spoons for serving alongside.
  5. Garnish and serve: Top each cone with a fresh rosemary sprig. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately, or chill for up to 1 hour before serving.
  6. Enjoy: Let guests grab and go, building their own combinations in the cones.

Notes

These cones can be customized with your favorite charcuterie items. For a vegan option, substitute meats with additional cheeses or roasted vegetables. Cones may soften if prepared too far in advance; assemble just before serving for best texture.
