Description

A festive antipasto platter arranged in the shape of a Christmas tree, featuring a variety of cured meats, cheeses, and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce, for the base
  • 2 cups mixed olives, pitted
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 200g sliced salami
  • 150g provolone cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup marinated artichoke hearts
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • Optional: Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Start by washing and drying the romaine lettuce, then arrange the larger leaves at the base to form a tree shape on a large platter.
  2. 2. Layer the mixed olives and cherry tomatoes on the next level, creating branches.
  3. 3. Add slices of salami and cubed provolone cheese on the subsequent layers, building upwards.
  4. 4. Place marinated artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers towards the top for detail.
  5. 5. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best presentation, use colorful ingredients and chill before serving. Pairs well with crackers or bread.
