  • 16 ozhoneyroasted peanuts or lightly-salted peanuts
  • 1 tbspvanilla extract
  • 2 cupssemi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, process the peanuts until they are completely smooth and creamy, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in amicrowave-safe bowl or over adouble boiler, stirring until smooth.
  3. Combine the creamy peanut butter, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in the food processor and blend until silky.
  4. Taste and adjust the flavor as needed. Transfer to a jar and allow to set to desired consistency.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, add some chopped peanuts after blending.If the mixture is too thick, a tablespoon of peanut or coconut oil can be added for a smoother texture.Store in an airtight container. Refrigerate to prolong shelf life.
