Description

These easy chicken stuffed crescent rolls are a delicious and quick appetizer or main dish. Filled with tender chicken and cheese, wrapped in flaky crescent dough and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) tubes crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the crescent dough from the wide end to the point, tucking the point under.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg if desired.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
