For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls, toasted (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until chicken is no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with vegetables.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top. Cover and cook until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes.
- Serve hot, optionally on toasted hoagie rolls.
