- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bread, cubed
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the cubed bread in a greased baking dish, then add the cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers and bake for 45 minutes or until set and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
