Description

A comforting dish featuring tender potatoes, savory smoked sausage, and creamy ranch flavors, perfect for a family meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning mix until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they start to soften.
  4. Add the sliced smoked sausage to the baking sheet with the potatoes and stir to combine.
  5. Return to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until the sausage is browned and potatoes are tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, topped with sour cream and chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, use spicy smoked sausage. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
