Description

A hearty dish featuring crispy potatoes, smoked sausage, and a creamy ranch cheese topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, diced
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. While the potatoes are baking, slice the smoked sausage.
  5. Remove the potatoes from the oven, add the sliced sausage and ranch seasoning, and mix well.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top and return to the oven for another 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and top with sour cream before serving.
