A comforting casserole made with fresh cabbage and melted cheese, perfect for a family dinner.

- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil the chopped cabbage until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheese, diced onion, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked cabbage to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with crushed Ritz crackers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This dish can be made ahead and refrigerated; just add 10 minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
