Notes
Pumpkin: Ensure you use pure pumpkin puree without any added sugars orspices. Pumpkin is great for digestion and provides fiber. Carrots: Finely grate the carrots so they blend well into the dough and are easy for your dog to eat. Whole Wheat Flour: A nutritious flour option that provides fiber and nutrients. If your dog is sensitive to wheat, you can use oat flour or another grain-free alternative. Storage: Store the chews in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. Adjustments: Feel free to add a small amount of ground flaxseed or chia seeds for extra fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.
