Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe pears, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch thick rounds
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 8 oz burrata cheese, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the brown sugar, stirring until dissolved.
  3. Add the pear slices to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and tender.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Remove from heat.
  5. On a serving platter, arrange the caramelized pear slices and top each with a piece of burrata cheese.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together pomegranate seeds, walnuts, pecans, and parsley.
  7. Sprinkle the nut crunch mixture over the burrata bites.
  8. Drizzle with honey and serve immediately.

Notes

These bites are best served immediately while the pears are warm. For a vegan option, substitute burrata with a vegan cheese alternative.
