- 2 ripe pears, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch thick rounds
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 8 oz burrata cheese, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Honey, for drizzling
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the brown sugar, stirring until dissolved.
- Add the pear slices to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and tender.
- Stir in lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Remove from heat.
- On a serving platter, arrange the caramelized pear slices and top each with a piece of burrata cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix together pomegranate seeds, walnuts, pecans, and parsley.
- Sprinkle the nut crunch mixture over the burrata bites.
- Drizzle with honey and serve immediately.
Notes
These bites are best served immediately while the pears are warm. For a vegan option, substitute burrata with a vegan cheese alternative.
