- 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces burrata cheese, torn into pieces
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts (such as almonds and walnuts), roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, toss pear halves with honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place pears on a baking sheet, cut side up, and bake for 20-25 minutes until caramelized.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Arrange pears on a serving platter and top each with a piece of burrata cheese.
- In a small bowl, combine pomegranate seeds, chopped nuts, and mint leaves to make the crunch topping.
- Sprinkle the crunch over the pears and burrata.
- Drizzle with any remaining honey if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
These bites are best served fresh. If preparing ahead, caramelize the pears and assemble just before serving to keep the crunch intact.
