- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
- Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.
- Alternately add flour mixture and milk, beginning and ending with flour (3 additions total). Fold gently until just combined.
- Gently fold in blueberries. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
- Make topping: Combine sugars, flour, and cinnamon. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over batter. Bake 35-45 minutes until golden and toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 15 minutes before serving. Best eaten warm!
