- Rub the steak generously with blackening seasoning on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side until charred. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, around 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in lemon juice and remaining butter, stirring until butter melts and forms a sauce.
- Slice steak against the grain and serve alongside shrimp, garnished with fresh parsley.
