A classic Thanksgiving stuffing made with bread, herbs, and vegetables, perfect for holiday dinners.

- 12 cups bread cubes from day-old bread
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir celery and onion until soft, about 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, celery mixture, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth; mix until evenly moistened.
- Spoon into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden brown.
Notes
Use day-old bread for the best texture. This can be made ahead and refrigerated.
