  • Author: Chef Mia

Description

A delicious and easy-to-make teriyaki salmon with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir into the saucepan and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each fillet generously with the teriyaki sauce.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
