For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup peach pie filling
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warm milk, egg, and melted butter. Knead until smooth.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread peach pie filling evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 8 equal pieces. Place each piece in a muffin tin.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
