A simple yet flavorful pasta dish with sautéed mushrooms and garlic in a light olive oil sauce.

For the Crust:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 8 oz mushrooms (sliced)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup parsley (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender and golden brown.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet along with reserved pasta water. Toss to combine.
- Stir in parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
