Irresistible Homemade Twix Bites

Delicious bite-sized Twix bars with a buttery shortbread base, creamy caramel center, and rich chocolate coating.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup soft caramels
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Press into the prepared pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Let cool.
  3. Melt caramels with heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Pour over cooled crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Cut into small rectangles. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil and dip each piece, coating completely. Place on parchment paper to set.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
