For the Crust:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients over medium heat.
  2. Whisk until smooth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool before using or storing.
